History

BioVeggie Co., Ltd began as a collaborative effort by food scientists, agriculturalists and chemical engineers who were deeply interested in producing new food products that help maintain good health. The primary concern was that the current foods available are contaminated with harmful substances which cannot be avoided in normal everyday people’s eating routine.  The constantly fast pace way of life which includes taking care of family result in people finding less time to go out of their way to find and eat fresh vegetables. This result in them not getting enough nutrients their body need. The people who started Bioveggie has an idea to produce vegetables in a form that is easy to eat, easy to store, and maintain all the good nutrients found from fresh vegetables. This was the beginning of the development of BioVeggie.

Source for Raw Material

BioVeggie Co., Ltd’s powdered vegetables went through dry process, the only process that can retain all the nutrients from the natural source. The process satisfies the standard of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and also satisfies the standard of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point).

It is collaboration between the development team and royal foundation which provide tax break for fruit and vegetable farmers that have to face the overbearing market demand.

The following vegetables went through the process that transformed them into powder, they are: Spinach, Parsley, Broccolini, Fennel, Celery, Beetroot, Japanese Bunching Onion, Sweet Pepper, Japanese Pumpkin, Cherry Tomato, Carrot, Red Cabbage. The vegetables are carefully selected without any chemical substances. The royal foundation oversees all the growing of the vegetables which satisfy the standard of GAP (Good Agricultural Practice)  Food Safety project, department of agricultural education,  Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, in order to ensure the safety quality of the vegetable products.
